Summer Day Camp 2010 
  
Summer Day Camp is for children ages 5 to 15 years.  Beginners are welcome.  All camp sessions are created so that even children that have never ridden a horse before can still participate. 
 
Each session will include:
* Daily Riding
* Learning Activities/games
* Hands on activities with the horses
* Classroom lessons that
   coordinate with camp theme
* Games on horseback

 

2010 Camp Pricing:

 

3 Half Days 9am-1pm   $90 per week

 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

 

1 Full Day 9am-5pm $50 per day

(Monday only)

CAMP THEMES:

 

Equine Basics: is all about horse care, parts of the horse, and different types of riding.  Students will play games on horseback adjusted to reflect their individual ability.  All students are welcome to participate.  Even those that are more advanced can benefit from reviewing the basics.

 

Backyard Ponies: teaches students about basic pony/horse care and the

responsibilities of caring for a pony

at home. Students will learn fun ways to

work with a pony at home, including

special grooming, games and arena

activities.

 

Outback Adventure: is all about Australian saddles, Australian horse breeds and fun games on horseback.

   

PARENT NOTE:

All of our camp sessions are created so that all children can participate.  No previous horse experience is required.  All activities can be modified to fit the student's abilities, even if your student has never been on a horse.  Due to the

fact that our horses are smaller horses we

do have weight restrictions.  If you are

concerned that this may affect your child

please call or email us with your concerns.
