Seminole Canyon Farm
Teaching total horsemanship, not just riding.

 Lessons
Our lessons are not just riding lessons, but total horsemanship lessons.
Our goal is to introduce the art of horsemanship to inexperienced horse enthusiasts and to help those with experience develop better communication with their equine partners.

*Beginners

*Children (3 years old and up)

*Adults

Types of Lessons

We teach recreational riding as part of our total horsemanship approach.
We want you to have fun and still learn how to communicate with your horse effectively and with respect to the horse.  We feel that developing balance with independent hands is key to cooperation and connection with the horse.
We offer lessons using english saddles as well as bareback lessons.  In the event of inclement weather we will use our horse simulator to practice that lesson's riding skills.  Time will still be spent hands-on with the horse to help improve horse and handler communication.  We do not cancel for rain.

We have a 60 x 100 outdoor arena.

We provide ASTM/SEI certified riding helmets
free of charge for use during your lesson.

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering
